Turnkey soybean meal handling import facility

Buttimer Engineering has designed, fabricated and installed of a turnkey soybean meal handling import facility for HES Poland (former MTMG) which operates the bulk terminal at Gdynia Port. The terminal will include Panamax vessel unloading, conveying, storage and dust-free out-loading to trucks.

Buttimer Engineering’s installation includes:
65 000 tonne flat store capacity
Ship unloading @1200 TPH
2 x Ship unloader @ 600 TPH
2 x EE40 Elevators
Truck Loading Stations:
RM14 chain conveyors @ 300 TPH
EE20 Elevators @ 300 TPH

Turnkey project consists of:

• 9 pcs. belt conveyors. The longest of 195 m. 1.2km of GI 1200 conveying. ATEX 22
• 7 pcs. of bucket elevators 600 t/h
• 6 pcs. bellow chutes in ATEX 20
• Weighing system WASA-0 3000 type
• Overscale and under scale containers, capacity of each 3000 kg (0,6 t/m³)
• 75 m³ hopper
• 2 fixed intake hoppers 7,58 x 6,5 3,75m and 6,5 x 6,5 x 3,75m
• Rail mounted hoppers
• Aspiration system
