Buttimer Engineering’s in-house steel fabrication and equipment manufacturing facility supports the delivery of Turnkey Projects and manufacturers bespoke Vessels, Tanks, and other Specialist Equipment for our customers.

Buttimer’s main manufacturing facility at the Cahir headquarters in Co. Tipperary, Ireland includes 4,800sqm, comprised of separate mild-steel and stainless-steel areas to ensure quality and eliminate cross contamination. This is supported by an adjacent Off-Site Manufacture (OSM) facility which enables extensive pre-assembly of large process modules, skids, prepopulated pipe racks, etc. Buttimer Engineering’s in-house manufacturing capacity is enhanced by a select number of longstanding outsource manufacturing partners in Ireland, UK, Europe, and the Middle East, who are contracted to manufacture specific components in full compliance Buttimer’s quality system.

Accurate and efficient information transfer between our Design and Manufacturing teams is maintained by common use of the latest software systems, including BIM Technology, Solidworks  Modelling, and Tekla Structural Design.
