Rigging:
Buttimer Engineering’s lifting and rigging teams consist of in-house lift supervisors and Appointed Persons that are highly trained and experienced in lifting operations and safe working, enabling them to undertake a range of rigging tasks from installing or removing single standalone components, to major multiple-crane heavy lifts. Many major rigging projects undertaken by Buttimer’s frequently come with additional challenges of tight schedule and access restrictions.
Buttimer Engineering’s rigging and equipment installation service includes full safety management of the operation, including the development of RAMS (Risk Assessments Method Statements) and detailed lift plans which outline the hazards and provide a step-by-step safe working methods to mitigate risk. Buttimer’s will provide all Cranage, MEWP’s (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms), SPMT’s (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters) and slinging equipment, and our Rigging Team will include an appointed person (AP) responsible for the execution and safety of a lifting operation.
